He is preceded in death by his wife, Nanci Davis; son, Todd Davis; parents, Jack and Mable Davis; brother, Carlton Davis; sisters, Faye Nell Smith, Pat Knox, and Dot Jemison.
Alton is survived by his son, Jeremy Davis (Cristy), daughter, Amanda Thomas (Tony); granddaughters, Emily Boykin (Cobi) and Samantha Miller (Slade); grandsons, Mackenzie Davis (Mallory), Jack Davis, Ryan Thomas, and Michael Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 12:00PM until 1:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 1:00PM with burial to follow at Lawley's Chapel Cemetery.
