Angel Luis Resto, age 74, of Vega Alta, Puerto Rico passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 surrounded by his family. He served in the US Army and retired from the Puerto Rico telephone company then settled in Pell City, Alabama to which he enjoyed being a grandfather and watching action movies.
Angel is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lois Elaine Davis Penalver; daughters, Lois E. Resto and Gisselle M. Brown (JB Hudson IV); son, Luis Angel Salomon Resto (Jessica Meaux); grandchildren, Jorge Javier Resto, Angela Nicole Scott, Mia Gabrielle Brown, Jorge Luis Resto-Meaux, Sophia del Pilar Resto-Meaux and Giuliana Isabella Resto-Meaux.
He was a man of deep compassion and faith who wanted love and unity for his family.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 beginning at 2:45PM at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, AL.
