Barbara Fay Brown passed on August 24, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on January 22, 1944. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, John and Myrtle Robertson; son, Dewey Lance Brown; daughter, Jerolyn Rena Sams; brother, Johnny Robertson sister, Jeanette (Judy) Beck; and brother, Harold Robertson; grandson, Michael Ray Barnes and granddaughter, Bailey Reid Swader. Barbara is survived by her daughters, Tommy Barnes and Terry Swader (Brent); grandchildren, Jeremy Barnes, Jarred Barnes (Tiffany) , Christopher Bartholomew (Amber), Brandon Bartholomew (Elizabeth), Shelby Swader, Julia Guthrie (Alec); great-grandchildren, Brayden Barnes, Case Barnes, Kyleigh Bartholomew, Chandler Bynum, Ansleigh Bartholomew, and Emrey Bartholomew. A host of nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Monday August 31, 2026 from 10:00-11:00 AM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama with a Funeral Service to begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Forest Crest Cemetery.
