

Billie Frances Creel Musgrove, 91, of Leeds, Alabama, began her life anew with Christ on December 17, 2019. The Rosary will be prayed at 12:00 noon, followed by visitation at 12:30, and Funeral Mass at 2:00 on Friday, December 20, all at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Leeds, 8101 3rd Ave, 35094, with Rev. Gray Bean, pastor, officiating. Kilgroe Funeral Home, directing.
Billie was preceded in death by Euel Musgrove, her devoted and loving husband of 67 years, and her sisters, Elzabeth Creel and Velma Abbott. She is survived by her children: Susan Nelms and husband, Ken; Lisa Kyle; Mark Musgrove and wife, Sandra; Celia Smith and husband, Randy; John Musgrove and wife, Donna. Two sisters: Mary John Jones; Betty White and husband, Curtis; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews, and other precious family members.
Billie was born in Helena, Alabama on January 9, 1928 to John and Mary Creel. She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1946 and worked as an executive secretary for VJ Elmore Stores in Birmingham, before her marriage to Euel. In 1957, Euel, Billie, and family moved to Leeds, where they became members of St. Theresa Catholic Church. Billie was very involved with her church, the Homemakers Extension Club, and her children’s busy lives. Everyone who knew her immediately recognized her goodness and kindness. Billie saw Jesus in everyone she met.
