He was joined in death by his wife, Billie Jean Kay.
Billy is survived by brothers: Alvin Dean Kay Sr. (Betty J.), Robert Beal (Susan), Robert S. Kay (Laura) and John Faulkner (Bobbie); Sisters: Betty Skelton, and Dolly Weems; Aunts: Verna Mae Sims and Ruby Townley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 8, 2013 from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, AL. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, AL. with burial to follow in Forest Crest Cemetery in Irondale, AL.
