Bryce Anthony Thornton, age 89, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024. Bryce is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Lelia Thornton; wife, Sally Thornton; sister, Judy Thornton; brothers, Edwin Thornton and Larry Thornton. Bryce is survived by his son, Bryce Thornton Jr; daughter, Pamela Brown; 3 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday September 5, 2024 at 2:00PM from Cedar Grove Cemetery. Bryce worked for Alabama Power and served on the Leeds City Council. Bryce also served almost 4 years in the United States Air Force.
