It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Buster Lee Rogers, who departed from this world on March 7, 2026, at the age of 57. Born on July 8, 1968, in the charming town of Leeds, Alabama, Buster was a beacon of light, love, and laughter to all who had the privilege of knowing him. After a courageously fought battle, he gained his wings to go home to be with his Savior and the loved ones who went before him.
Buster was the cherished son of Buster and Billie Ann Rogers. He was preceded in death by his father, Buster Rogers, and his brother, Paul Rogers, whose memories he carried lovingly throughout his life. He is survived by his devoted mother, Billie Ann Rogers, and his brothers, Frankie Rogers and Tommy Rogers (Ann). Buster also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Buster, along with many close friends who were more like family.
A true son of Alabama, Buster had an indomitable spirit and a special love for the outdoors and music. His happiest moments were spent riding the back roads, with the wind in his hair mud on his tires and his favorite tunes playing. He adored riding dirt bikes, rail buggies, fishing, and being surrounded by the warmth of family and friends. Known for his quick wit and fun-loving attitude, Buster had a knack for storytelling that could light up any room. To know him was to love him, and his presence will be dearly missed by all who had the fortune to be part of his world.
Buster had a talent for fixing things, and there wasn't much he couldn't repair. On the rare occasion he encountered a challenge beyond his skill, he always knew someone who could help.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at UAB St. Clair in Pell City, Alabama. Their exceptional care and compassion for Buster and his family during his final days were a source of great comfort. A heartfelt acknowledgment is given to the ER doctor who prayed with and for Buster as well as the dedicated nurses and doctor on the second floor who treated him with kindness and dignity.
As we bid farewell to Buster, we hold onto the stories, the laughter, and the love he shared. His life was a testament to the beauty of living in the moment and cherishing those around us. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
We all know he wouldn't want us to stop living but to live life to the fullest as a tribute to him.
