Carol Banks

Carol Bice Banks, age 78 of Ashville, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday January 8, 2023 surrounded by family and her loving husband of 61 years. She was a kind loving wife, momma and granmaw to her family and friends. She was a lifetime resident of Shoal Creek Valley community. She was a faithful Christian who loved Jesus with all her heart and attended Piney Grove Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; Jim and Ethel Bice, brothers; Junior, Jack, Willard, Bruce, Don and Butch and sisters Sue and Vera. She is survived by her husband; Jimmy Banks, daughters; Shelia Shockley (David), Tina Wyatt (Danny), and son; Bryan Keith Banks (Tracy). Grandchildren; Katie Weathers (Sean), Brent Wyatt (Sunie), Delana Weaver (Jacob), Lena Crane (Drew), Tiffany Taylor (Garrett) and Jon Banks (Lynsey) six great grandchildren, brother; Bobby Bice and sisters; Sarah Bierbrodt and Betty Brown. Special nephew and niece; Robert and Terri Bice and a host of special life long friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 14, 2023 at Kilgroe Funeral Home - Leeds at 12:00 with burial in St. Clair Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday January 13, 2023 at Kilgroe Funeral Home – Leeds from 5-8.
