Catherine Parker

Catherine Parker, age 99, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. She is preceded in death by husband, Emmett Parker; daughter, Andrea Parker; sisters, Jean Weakley, Louise Griggs, Ann Littleton, brothers, Bill Smith, Kenneth Smith, and Earl Smith.

Catherine is survived by her daughter, Gloria Nelson; son, Tim Parker (Sandra); sister, Carolyn Mulligan; grandchildren, Cassie Burchell (Rod), Robin Miller (John), Jennifer Watlington (Alex), Bobby Nelson (Courtney), Guy Parker (Liz), Lisa Stampley (Mike), and Jill Ladner (Rocky), 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Dunnavant Faith Baptist Church from 10:30 AM until 1:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Dunnavant Faith Baptist Church beginning at 1:00PM with burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery.

She was a devoted Christian who served the Lord for 86 years. She loved her family and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
