Chang "Kim" Allen

Kim was born on June 29, 1954 in Seoul, South Korea. She was an employee for ADESA in Moody for 35 years, and was employee of the year in 2021. Kim was an avid Alabama fan who enjoyed attending and watching games, fishing, reading, spoiling her grandchildren, and helping others.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Robert L. Allen, her daughter, Sandra (Chad) Whelan, her sons, David (Brandy) Allen and Robby (Cristina) Allen, and her grandchildren, Andrew Whelan, Dalton and Kaydance Eller, and Sophie Allen. She is preceded in death by her parents, Kim Won Kun and Cho Han Yom.

A funeral will be held on Monday, December 19th at 1:00PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in

Leeds, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association. Kim will be deeply missed by all who knew her
