Mr. Ash worked 28 years at the Anniston Army Depot. He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church, served in the U. S. Army and worked several years as a Walmart Greeter. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Juanita and Geraldine and 2 brothers, Edward and James as well as his parents, Byron and Jessie.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Lois Ash; son, Michael C. Ash (Letitia); grandchildren, Ryan Ash, Austin Ash and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds on Sunday, November 1, 2015 from 5:30PM until 8:00PM.
Funeral Services will be at 11AM on Monday, November 2, 2015 at Kilgroe Leeds Chapel with burial at Branchville Cemetery.
