Charles L. Kittler, was born December 14, 1944 in Greenville, Alabama. He was baptized when he was 12 years old. He confessed hope in Christ and was born again at the age of 38 years old. He retired from General Motors in Van Nuys, Calif. After 30 years of service. He was a man of Distinction who faithfully supported the work of the Lord throughout his Born Again Life. Witnessing and bearing fruit for Christ Jesus. Charles departed this life, August 25, 2013 while in the hospital at 3:00 AM. Leaving to cherish his fond memories: His wife of 45 years, Josiephine Kittler, one son, Alfie Lamar Kittler, one grandson, Adam Charles Kittler, Two God grandsons, Gregory Lamar Nedd and Christopher Lloyd Nedd, two sisters, Betty Weir, and Cynthiana Jones, first cousin (like a brother), John D. Kittler (Stein), and a host of In-Laws, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and church family friends. The family will receive friends from 12 PM until 1 PM on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds. Services will be held at 1PM on Friday, August 30, 2013 at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel. Visit online at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds directing.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Charles passing. He and Josephine blessed our Senior Center with such special warmth. He is truly missed already. I will pray that God will reach His loving arms around the family and give each of you peace to face the tomorrows. Just remember he is in a grand and glorious place.

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Charles passing. He is suffering no more. We are leaving early Friday for a quick Labor Day get away and will not be able to attend the services. I feel very honored to have been a part yours and Mr. Kittler's life for the past 6 years. He was a very proud and honorable man. Thank you sharing a small part of your lives with me.
