Charles Bruce Little

Born March 27, 1953, in Tucson, Arizona, Chuck was the son of the late Jack Bruce and Anna Walker Little, also of Leeds.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 35 years, Margie Veasey Little, of Leeds; daughter, Carolyn Little Cleveland, of Laramie, Wyoming, and son-in-law, Phillip; son, John Charles Little, of Florence, Alabama; sister, Jackie Little, of Los Alamos, New Mexico; nephew, Seth McKitrick, of Chattanooga, Tennessee; stepmother, Betty Little, of Leeds; aunt and uncle, Hazel and Joe Hendricks, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; various extended family members; and beloved family pets, Simon and Waylon.

Chuck graduated from Leeds High School in 1971 and was employed for 37 years with Sungard Data Systems, Inc. He loved to read, take photographs, and was an avid Auburn football fan. He enjoyed fishing at the beach and spent many good times there with dear friends and family. He was a member and past President of the Stogies Klub.

A celebration of Chuck’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2011, at First Baptist Church of Leeds, Alabama. An opportunity to visit the family will be available during a reception immediately following the memorial service in the church fellowship hall. Kilgroe Funeral home will be directing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Chuck was deeply loved and will be missed by his family and many friends.
