Chester Ray Vest, age 81, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023. Chester is survived by his wife, Shirley Vest; daughter, Rita Vest (Scott) Maloy; son, Kenny Vest; 7 step-children; grandchildren, Ashley Perry and Alyson (Kim) Perry; 13 step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren, Cadyn Williams; 18 step great-grandchildren; sister, Sharon Brakefield; brother, Roy (Beverly) Vest. A visitation will be held on Monday September 11, 2023 from 12:00-2:00PM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:00PM. Burial will be at Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
