Christopher Scott Smith

Chris went to Leeds school and graduated in 1988. He went to JSCC for one year before starting his working career. One of his first jobs was at Anderson Electric. He then got is CDL license and became a route delivery driver for Supreme Beverage in Birmingham. He also spent several years driving for Wood Fruitticher Grocery Co. He then worked for a short time at Land Star Transportation. For the past 20 years he has been the Eastern Sales Manager for Spann Transportation in San Diego California. Chris had a very outgoing personality. He never met a stranger. He loved Auburn Football, fishing and golf and his many lifelong friends. He is survived by his son Christian, his fiancée Jenny Stewart, his parents Roger and Betty Smith, his brother Greg, his nephew Chandler Smith and nieces Kaitlyn and Haley Smith and several Aunts Uncles and cousins. Arrangements are at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama where visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Saturday May 3rd. Visitation will be followed by a celebration of life memorial at 2:00 pm.
