Danni D Reed

Danni Sue Davis Reed, 61, of Moody, Alabama died Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Danni is preceded in death by her parents, Duris Davis and Eugenia Davis Bellew and grandmother, Louise Hunt Davis and brothers, Charles (Butch) Davis, David (Beaver) Davis and John Kevin Davis.

Danni is survived by her husband, Tommy Reed, daughter, Jessica Mann Freeman and son, Landon (Rachel) Reed. Danni was blessed with five grandchildren that she loved dearly. Her grandchildren are Gabrielle (Gabbi) and Ian Mann, Chandler Freeman and Presley and Kale Reed.

Danni leaves behind three sisters, Donna (Bill) Fagan, Denise (Steve) Forsythe and Kathy (Tom) Martin and a brother, Robert (Hilde) Davis and many nieces and nephews.

Danni attended Hewitt Trussville High School. Danni was an extremely hard worker and worked several places. However, her favorite place to work was a convenience store. She loved talking to her customers and always greeted them with a smile and kind words. Danni enjoyed working on the computer and for a while was church secretary at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church.

Danni was tiny in size but mighty in spirit. Danni was multi- talented and could wire a ceiling fan, care for her grandchildren or ill parents or decorated the most beautiful Christmas tree, whatever task was at hand.

After a brave fight with breast cancer and COPD, Danni passed away at home on September 20, 2017.

A memorial service honoring Danni will be held at Sulphur Springs Baptist church on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with graveside service following.

Danni will truly be missed by all that knew and loved her. Heaven has gained another angel, rest in peace our little warrior.
