David was a 1997 graduate of John Carroll Catholic High School, where his leadership, determination, and love for soccer were already evident. He went on to graduate from Rhodes College, continuing to build a foundation rooted in discipline, curiosity, and service. David proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Sergeant and serving with the 8th Marines, 2nd Marine Division. His service strengthened his lifelong commitment to honor, loyalty, and perseverance—values that guided him in every chapter of his life.
Following his military service, David built a successful career as a financial advisor, where he was known for his diligence, integrity, and genuine care for his clients. He didn’t just manage finances—he built trust, lasting relationships, and peace of mind, always striving to do right by those who depended on him.
David had a deep love for travel and adventure, always drawn to places that brought both beauty and peace. Colorado held a special place in his heart—a place where he felt most alive, grounded, and free. The mountains, the quiet moments, and the memories made there were among his most cherished.
Soccer was one of David’s lifelong passions. Whether playing on the field or coaching from the sidelines, he found joy in teamwork, mentorship, and the simple beauty of the game. He was a natural leader—encouraging, patient, and always willing to give his time to help others grow.
Above all, David will be remembered for his kind heart, steady strength, and the deep love he shared with those closest to him. He had a quiet way of making people feel safe, valued, and understood. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and unwavering support, and his absence leaves a space that can never be filled.
David is survived by his loving mother, Paula Fleming; his son, Camp; whom he loved and enjoyed spending time with; his brother, Adam Fleming; and the love of his life, Ashley Garner, and her son Conner, with whom he shared a deep and enduring bond.
David was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Neal Fleming, a respected financial advisor whose guidance and example greatly influenced David’s life and career.
