David A Franklin

David is survived by his Loving Wife Denise Brasher Franklin of 32 years and their Fur Babies (dogs), Lucy and Sassy; His Mother Bernice Seely; his sister Sandra Franklin (Richard Chesson); brother Dale Franklin; brother-in-law Dennis Brasher (Cindy #2); and numerous nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Cindy Brasher #1 (Paul - deceased).

David was preceded in death by his father Robert D. Franklin; sister Shelia Barnett; mother-in-law Lounell Brasher; father-in-law L.B. Brasher.

David enjoyed his gardening and Landscaping from his early childhood years that grew into a lifetime career including many hours volunteering in his community, Pleasant Grove Church of Vandiver, The Hand in Paw Organization and David’s Landscapes were also featured several times in Birmingham’s Home and Garden Magazine. He was recognized for his endless work and dedication with a statue presented in his honor. David worked Hand-in-Hand with Mrs. Kim Weinheimer obtaining several Beautification Awards within Leeds, Alabama and other surrounding communities. David will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Celebration of Life for David A. Franklin will be Saturday February 7, 2026 at 12:30pm for Friends and Family with Service to follow at 2pm.
