I went to school with Debra for 12 years so many of my school memories include her. Debra was always caring and compassionate and she loved to laugh and have a good time. We drifted apart after graduation but a group of my old friends reconnected several years ago. Debra dubbed us the ‘Gabby Girls.’ We would meet for a four to five hour lunch/talk fest when I would return to Sardis to visit my Mom every three months. Debra will be sorely missed because she was an integral part of our group. My thoughts and prayers go out to Debra’s family. As I told you before, Debra, you are my hero and I will miss you, my War Eagle friend!

I met Debbie at CVS. Everytime I went into the store she always said hello and had a sweet smile on her face. We have the same first names we laugh and talk. I know you will miss her because I do. My prayers are with you.

I went to school with Deb 12 years and had her Dad Tom as Principal (He handed me my diploma). In one word description: "Kind". I got to see at our past 3 High School reunions and she was still the kind person I knew. TO THE FAMILY: I wish ya'll had never left Sardis, I hear Tom's name especially mentioned at the Lion's Den quite often still and I often stop at Mr. Griff's grave when running or riding my bike. He could really give a leg striping when you needed (or didn't need) it. I loved to fish with Tom, David. May our Savior and Lord comfort you, and if anyone who reads this does not believe in Jesus and his dying for you and all, I plead for you to simply ask Him into your life today. Here's a pic of our reunion in 2017, Lane
