Deryl Bowman

Deryl A. Bowman, also known as Gigi, aged 70, departed this life on February 9, 2024, in Moody, Alabama. Born on December 28, 1953, to the late George and Anne Moss, she was a beacon of love and the epitome of kindness. Her gentle spirit and warm heart left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.

A talented crafter, Gigi's hands were rarely still, as she poured her soul into creating beautiful, handcrafted items that were as unique and special as she was. Her love for her family was woven into the fabric of her life, and her legacy of creativity and affection will be cherished forever.

Gigi is survived by her loving children, Ashley Green (Lovell) and Chris Horton (Heather), and her adored grandchildren, Kira, Casey, Aiden, Kayleigh, Nash, and Isaac. She also leaves behind her caring siblings, Karen, George, and Carl, along with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom she held dear. She was preceded in passing by her parents and her sister, Donna.

The family is being cared for by Kilgore Leeds Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama, where arrangements for her final farewell are being made. Her favorite flower is sunflowers.
