Dewey Lance Brown

Many things come to mind when thinking about Lance. He was an intelligent man and his hard work proceeds him. He was very ingenuitive, a true jack-of-all trades. Lance had enormous charm and quite the sense of humor, you had to know him to understand. He was dearly loved and admired by the people closest to him.He will be missed by all his family, friends and loved ones. Lance was preceded in death by his sister, Jerolyn Rena Sams, his nephew, Michael Ray Barnes, and his niece, Bailey Reid Swader.

He is survived by his daughter, Julia Claire Brown Guthrie (Alec); his parents, Gerald Mead Brown and Barbara Robertson Brown; his sisters, Tommy Barnes and Terrace Brown Swader; his brother-in-law, William Brent Swader; nephews, Jeremy Barnes Jarred Barnes (Tiffany), Christopher Bartholomew (Amber), Brandon Bartholomew (Elizabeth), and niece, Shelby Swader.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 12:00PM until 1:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 1:00PM with burial to follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
