Diane was born on December 8, 1946, in Coosa County, Alabama, to Clifton Curtiss Cowart and Belle Kelly. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Ann (Joan) Isbell.
Diane was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Terry Ray Riddlesperger. She looked forward to the day they would be reunited.
She is survived by her son, Terry (Chip) Ray Riddlesperger Jr. (Beverly), and her daughter, Casey Leigh Stinson. Diane was a loving “MeMom” to her grandchildren, Landon Stinson, Evan Riddlesperger, Haydon Stinson, and Rae Ni Riddlesperger, her great-grandchildren, Magi, Lilli, Liam, Oakleigh, Kinsleigh, and great-great-grandson Weston.
Diane was an avid reader who also loved crocheting and baking. One of her greatest joys was being with her adored dog, Sophie.
A visitation will be held Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 12:00-1:00 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama, with a memorial service to follow
