Donnie Hodges lived a life defined by generosity, strength, resilience, and an unwavering devotion to his family and passions. He was a man who never met a stranger. His kind heart and open hands were extended to everyone, and he gave without expecting anything in return.
He was a loving father and a proud grandfather, and his eyes lit up whenever he was surrounded by his grandchildren. Though his beloved wife, Star Hodges, preceded him in death, his love for her never wavered. He carried her memory with him daily, honoring her through the life they built together. Their bond was the kind that endures beyond time.
Donnie had a passion for hot rods that brought him joy and connected him with many in the community. Whether it was tinkering in the garage, cruising on a sunny day, or swapping stories with fellow enthusiasts, he found peace and happiness in his love for classic cars.
He is survived by his mother, Eleanor, three brothers, Rick, Mike, and John, his four children, Melissa, Shane, Don, and Jesse, and his seventeen grandchildren. Each of them carries a piece of his legacy: kindness, strength, and the understanding that real love is shown through action.
Donnie will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His life was a testimony to the power of compassion, the strength of family, and the joy found in simple passions. May he rest in peace, reunited with the love of his life.
