Mrs. Higgins was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Pearl Fields; (2) brothers and (2) sisters. She was a Member of Pell City Seven Day Adventist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Gordon Higgins; daughter, Susan Higgins; son, Bryan Higgins (Kay); sisters, Ruth Lawson; Lilly Tatum; grandchildren, Emily Higgins and Adam Higgins.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM on Sunday, February 20, 2011 with the Funeral Service to follow at 2:30 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial at Branchville Cemetery.
