She is preceded in death by her husband, C.P. Ayers, baby, Glora Dean, and son Gary Thornhill.
Mrs. Ayers is survived by her children, Clarence Thornhill, Barbara Murphy (Billy), Owen Thornhill (Estella), Diane Coupland (Jon), Charlene MacArthur (Pete), “The Twins” Polly McMullen (Tim) and Paula Cooper (Quentin) and Roger Woods (Kim), 27 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 beginning at 10:00AM with a chapel service to follow at 11:00AM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, AL. Interment will take place at Jefferson Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
