Edna Faye Ross

Edna Faye Ross 86, of Odenville, AL passed away February 25, 2023. Visitation will be Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 11:00 am Calvary Baptist Church in Odenville, AL with Celebration of Life at 12:00 noon.

Faye was born on November 18, 1936 in Decatur, TN to the late Robert and Edna Miller. Faye is survived by her sister June Brown, her children Kay Weaver (Jeff), Bobby Barnes (Brenda), Billy Barnes (Jenny), Terry Barnes (Virginia), Tammy Hudgins (Roy), Paige Stone (Geoff) and a special "Son" Jason Wiley.

Grandchildren, Candi Davidson, Ashley Barnes (Jenny), Austin Barnes (Amber), Calvin Barnes, Magen Crump (Dee), Grayson Barnes (Crystal), Ashlyn Thompson (Jonathan), Rachel Prado (Chris), Payton Wiley, Kolby Hufford (Brooklyn).

Great Grandchildren, Stephen Fanning, Lauren Fanning, Karson Poe, Kenzie Stokes, Poncho Prado, Mallie Kate Howard, Alejandro Prado, Memphis Barnes, Santiago Prado and Daxton Crump.

She is preceded in death by her husband Mike Ross Jr., Her sisters, Robbie Bennett and Marie Dobbs.

Faye was born in Decatur, TN. but settled in Moody, AL where she raised 5 kids. In 1978, she went to work at Hardee's in Leeds and quickly worked her way up the ladder to earn the position of District Leader. Soon she was promoted to Region Leader, being the first female to ever hold that position, and lead over 90 Hardee's. She was known to her stores as "Hell in Heels" . She trained many managers to follow in her foot steps and taught people to be willing to do what you ask of your employees. She retired after a cancer diagnosis but left a legacy for others to follow. She is highly regarded by everyone who met her. She is a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Moody, but spent her last years attending Calvary Baptist Church in Odenville, AL.
