Eleanor F. Hitt

Eleanor Faye Ford Hitt , was born on November 25 1936 to Lucille Ford, in Tuscaloosa Alabama. Eleanor “Faye” married the Love of her Life , Robert Allen Hitt also of Tuscaloosa, June 15 1958. Soon they were blessed with a son Steven Eugene. Shortly after Steven’s birth they would move to Leeds Alabama. Later they welcomed sons Scott Alan, and Randall Lee. Faye and Robert were, and remain vital members of Valley View Baptist Church. Faye and Robert raised their children in Leeds. She was a dedicated Wife , Mother , and Grandmother. She is known for her Gentle Spirit, Talent , Creativity, and Beauty. She is preceded in death by her mother Lucille Ford , sons Steven Eugene , Randall Lee , brother Jimmy Ford , sister Joyce Ford Lamb. She is survived by her husband Robert Hitt , her son Scott (Craig) , grandchildren Gabriel (Brittany) Randel, great grandson James. A Visitation will be held on Thursday March 21, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 AM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama with a Funeral Service to start 11:00AM. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
