Ellen Eulene Jones

Ellen Eulene Jones, age 80, of Prattville, AL. made her transition, June 28, 2012; at Baptist Hospice of Montgomery South Hospital. Ellen was born in Wedowee, AL to John William Mathews and Lillie Mae Young Mathews.

Ellen was retired from the State of Alabama. She was affectionately known as Ms. Ellen.

She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Dale Ritch, her daughter, Sandra Ferguson and her sister Faye Mathews Ward.

Surviving Ellen is her husband, Milford Jones; as well as her brothers: Harlan (Patsy) Mathews, Jack (Julie) Mathews, Dale (Angela) Mathews; other survivors include her daughters, Shelia Nee, and Renee Ritch; grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive friends Thursday, July 5, 2012 from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, AL.

Funeral Services will be Thursday, July 5, 2012 at 4:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cook Springs Cemetery.
