Ellen Imojean Walker

Ellen Imojean Walker, age 85, of Moody, Alabama passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2022. Ellen was born November 7, 1936.She is preceded in death by her parents, J.D. and Vivian Lawley; husband of 65 years, Rev. Ernest "Buddy" Walker; brother and sister in law, John Lawley and Bobbie; sister, Carolyn Lawley and brother in law, Arnold Stewart. Ms. Walker was a member of the Eastern Star, a member at Fairview Freewill Baptist Church and most importantly a pastor's wife for over 50 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Terrie Brasher (Donald) and Tracye Stone (Earnest "Buba"); sister, Helen Brown (Howard) and Brenda Stewart; grandchildren, Trey Brasher (Ginger), Cody Brasher, Kelsey Freiberger (Nick), Hunter Stone (Jennifer) and Bryan Tutton and great grandchildren, Cambry Brasher, Jace Freiberger, Maggie Stone and Baby Girl Brasher as well as niece and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 1:00PM until 2:00PM. Funeral services will begin on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Kilgroe Funeral Home beginning at 2:00PM with burial to follow at Forest Crest Cemetery.
