

Max, a lifelong Odenville resident, spent most of his younger days enjoying cow sales, riding horses, and life on the farm. In January of 1976, he married his forever best friend, Jackie Taylor. Together they started a life that was filled with many memories, adventures, and most of all love. For almost 30 years Max devoted most of his time to DUNN Construction where he was a foreman for the asphalt plant. Besides Jackie, two of his most prized possessions were his children Ashley and Crockett. In the fall of 2009, Max was blessed with his greatest accomplishment, becoming “Pepper” to his first grandchild Izzy, and later following in 2013, Jentry.
Some of Max’s hobbies included hunting with his grandchildren, riding the boat, and antiquing with Jackie. On any given day you could find Max at his shop with his friends where they piddled together on cars or anything they could “fix-up.” Max leaves a lasting legacy of a having a strong work ethic and being a man of integrity who loved his family and friends very much.
Max is proceeded in death by his parents Doris Neil and Finus Max Taylor Sr. and his sister Theresa Brooks.
Max is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jackie; children Ashley and Crockett; grandchildren Izzy and Jentry.
