Flora Foster McNabb

Flora Foster Yarbrough McNabb, of Leeds passed away Saturday, February 2nd at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by husbands Johnny Erwin "Pete" Yarbrough and James McNabb. Survived by her son: Randy (Vicki) Yarbrough, daughters: Johnnie Yarbrough and Wanda Kay Lewis all of Leeds; three grandchildren: Michael Lewis of Arvada, CO, Shari (Scott) Robider of Charlotte, NC and Kathi (Mark) Carr of Leeds, AL; four great-grandchildren: Melissa Wain, Tori Carr, Megan Robider, and Halle Robider; and step-daughter: Mary (Bobby) Maddox of Leeds, AL.

Upon retiring from Parisian's Department Store, she enjoyed spending her time by making clothes for those in need, wedding and pageant dresses, and quilting. She could always be counted on for having a needle and thread.

A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Leeds, AL at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning an hour before the service. Mrs. McNabb was the oldest living member of the church.
