Mr. Vann was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Gladys Vann, brother, Harold Vann and sister, Shirley Layfield.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann Vann, daughter, Leeann Mae Vann, son, Richard Lamar Vann (Melissa), brother, Charles “Mick” Vann, grandchildren Emmalee Katherine Vann and Anna Mae Vann.
Visitation will be held at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 5:30 PM until 8:30 PM.
Funeral Services will be held at Low Gap on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 11 AM with burial at Low Gap Cemetery.
