Frankie Marie Hartsfield

She was born November 6, 1924 in Conway, MS, graduated from Carthage MS High School as Valedictorian, graduate of Alverson Draughon Business College in Birmingham. She was employed by Miller Drugs in Leeds and Standard Furniture throughout the Birmingham area. After retirement she devoted her time to aiding and care giving to family members up and until her failing health prevented her to be of assistance.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Farest A. Hartsfield Sr., her parents, Wiley Pierce Triplett and Tallulah Cornelia Lopshire, sisters, Doris Johnston and Dean Warren, great grandchildren, Owen Colvin and Alexandra Marie Molina.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol Allen of Carthage, MS; sons, Farest A. Hartsfield Jr. (Mady) of Leeds, AL; John F. Hartsfield (Melissa) of Rainbow City, AL; 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 11 AM on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.

Funeral Services will be at 12 Noon on Monday, January 5, 2015 at Kilgroe Leeds Chapel with burial at Ebenezer Cemetery in Sterrett, AL.
