Gary and I were schoolmates. I will always remember his kindness. Never heard him speak badly of anyone> He was a true gentleman that I remember fondly. May the good Lord give you strength and comfort during this time. Linda and Pebs, I love you and value your friendhip.

I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers to the family. I worked for Gary at Samsonite and he placed me into management for the first time in my career. He never knew it but I looked to him as being a mentor.

I loved it when you guys were my next door neighbors. Gary was always in the yard doing something. He was a quite man but very friendly. He was always there for me when I needed him. I missed you guys when you moved to Trussville and now I will even miss you guys more.

Linda I will always remember the day and the way that I met you. I was at the courthouse to registered my vehicle and you waited on me. You told me we were neighbors. I asked did you live in River Oaks too. You said "yes and we are neighbors." I said, oh, you live on River oaks Drive too. You said "yes, but we are neighbors." That is when I realized we were next door neighbors. And good neighbors you were!! I miss seeing you at the voting polls.

I will be praying for the family. If you need anything, you can count on me.

Your Dad was loved and respected by so many. Every word I heard about Gary Deason was kind and my Aunt Velma Maddox who worked for your Dad for many years always had much respect and admiration for him and his entire family.
My prayers are with you in this time of sorrow .Gos bless you all and give you peace and understanding and strength and courage. Amen..
