Gary A. Reed

Services will be held at Kilgore Funeral Home,1750 Ashville Road, Leeds, Al 35094, Monday 13, 2012. Visitation will be held from 12-1pm. Services starting at 1pm, burial will follow at Forest Crest Cemetary on Hwy78.

Gary was born February 7, 1953 in Louisville, KY. On May 16, 1970 he married the former Donnis Carroll of Birmingham, Al. As a young man he was mentored by Don Martin of Central Glass. In 1992 he went on to open his own glass and glazing company, Reed's Glass which operated for 20 years.

Gary is survived by his wife Donnis of 42 years, daughter Tracy, son Travis and one grandson Jake Reed. Brother's Ronnie, Tyrone, Greg Reed, and Theresa Cannon all of Louisville, KY. He was a beloved Uncle by many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Reed. Brothers Mike and Bruce Reed, and his in-laws Autrey and Edith Carroll.
