He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Doris and his parents: Gordon and Alleen Higgins.
Gordon is survived by son Bryan Higgins (Kay) of Southside, AL.; daughter, Susan Higgins of Birmingham, AL.; 2 grandchildren: Emily and Adam Higgins; special aunt, Helen Richardson; and many extended family and friends.
Funeral Service will be Sunday, November 24, 2013 at 2:30 PM. with Reverend Victor Vaughn of Pell City SDA presiding. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until the service time on Sunday.
