

Gregory Hogan, 75, of Moody, Alabama, passed away on February 28, 2026, at 5:58 p.m. Born November 1, 1950, Gregory will be remembered as a devoted, quick-witted, and steadfast man whose life reflected quiet strength, deep loyalty, and enduring faith.
Gregory earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Auburn University, a foundation that supported a life marked by diligence and integrity. He further distinguished himself professionally by achieving the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor, Certified Risk Manager, and Associates in Underwriting.
On August 9, 1975, Gregory married Janice Kay Tucker Hogan. He was a loving husband and a proud father to his daughters, Mary Beth Brown (Landon) and Emily Reeves (Brennan). He was a devoted grandfather to Tucker, Sullivan and Sutton Brown, and to Lee, Lane and Mac Reeves. Gregory is also survived by his sister, Kay Phillips. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Margaret Hogan, and his brother, Rodney Hogan.
Gregory’s interests were a reflection of his thoughtful and spirited nature—he enjoyed reading, boxing, Auburn football, and was known for his quick witted humor. He also gave his time and presence to Juarez Boxing and was part of HunterStreet Baptist Church, Scott Stanley's Small Group, where his steady character and faithful heart were valued.
