In reviewing the photos of Harold, he looks so much like his mother, Ada (Mamaos).
What a great life well lived -- always willing to assist anywhere he could -- a servants heart. A great man who will be missed at Leeds First Baptist and the community.
Many memories of Harold, Carlton and Ralph throughout the years.

Love to you Nelda.

So many great memories with this guy. He was willing to help anyone anytime. A quiet and gentle soul that lived the Lord. I thank God for putting him and into mine and Jim's life. We knew no one in Leeds when we moved here. After just a few months they made us feel like old friends. Aloha my friend.

Harold had such a servants heart. He was dedicated to helping others, always with that beautiful smile and sweet disputation. He will be missed by many. Prayers for you Nelda.

"Let us cross over the river, and rest under the shade of the trees." - General Stonewall Jackson

Harold and Nelda are known as devoted gardeners and I have always admired them for their abilities and gift in this arena. In the 18 years I have known them, Harold was a refuge of peace. Like the trees referenced in the quote above Harold provided shade for all those around him. His wisdom and gentle nature nurtured and drew folks to God. Like the tree referenced in Psalm 1:3 he was rooted near the riverbank - never lacking water and providing others with sustenance. Harold was and remains a rich blessing in my life and the life of my family.

Nelda, Words cannot express how sorry I am to hear of Harold's passing. I just found out late this evening. Harold was one of the best men that I have ever known. Y'all were such good neighbors to Marvin and I for several years in Leeds and we could not have had anyone to be better to us than you and Harold. My heart goes out to you , Its never the same after losing your spouse , but time ease's the pain.May the peace and comfort that could only come from our Lord surround you and comfort you . Love you, Wanda

A beautiful man with a beautiful smile, a beautiful life and a beautiful wife. There is a special place in heaven for wonderful men such as Harold. He decided early Sunday morning that he needed to go there and see what it was like. That special place is full of folks just like him. He is in good company. Ms Nelda, I love you and I will continue to pray for you..He will be missed..
