Mr. McCay was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Belle and Dewey McCay. He was retired from ACIPCO, a U. S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War and a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn L. McCay, daughter, Tammie L. Atchison (spouse Robert Atchison Jr.), son, Sandy H. McCay (spouse LeAnne McCay), sister Frances Odom (spouse Conrad Odom), brothers, Earl McCay (Spouse, Dolly McCay), James McCay, grandchildren, Brittani Atchison, C. Trace Atchison, Cameron Atchison, Victoria McCay, Tyler McCay and Tamara Campbell.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at 11 AM at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with graveside services to follow at Pleasant Mountain Cemetery in Blount County, AL.
