Harrison Lewis Steed

With profound sadness, our family announces the unexpected passing of Harrison Louis Steed, who left this earth on 20 October 2026 to be with his Heavenly Father. Harrison was born on 22 July 2024. He loved his yellow Hot Wheels, construction vehicles, and spaceships. He loved singing Bible songs and Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. Harrison always smiled and said, “Hi!” to everyone he passed. Though young, he touched so many people with his gentle, loving spirit.

Harrison is survived by his parents, Kayla and John David Steed; his sister, Norah Steed; maternal grandparents, Robin and Joe Lewis; paternal grandparents, Johnna and David Steed; and aunts, Kelley Lewis and Mariah Caid-Loos; many others include teachers and students at Ardent Preschool and Daycare at Patchwork Farms, nursery volunteers at Church of the Highlands, neighbors, and friends, who loved him and will remember his laughter and kindness.

Matthew 19:14- Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Harrison will be honored at a memorial service at the Chapel at Church of the Highlands, Grants Mill at 1000 on Saturday morning, 24 October.

In lieu of flowers, the family is encouraging toy donations from this wish list for patients at Children’s of Alabama, as Harrison loved his toys.

Harrison’s memory and love of Jesus will live on through the hearts and actions of his family and loved ones.
