Mr. Marks was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Ruby Marks, sister, Gloria Marks, brothers, Nolan and Ernest Marks.
He is survived by his wife, Deanna Marks, step-daughter, Lesley Goins and niece, Christy Whitehead. Herb served 25 years in the Navy and was on Seal Teams 1, 3 and 6. The Family will receive friends at 4 PM on January 7, 2015 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds with Military Honors at 4:30 PM, followed by a Memorial Service and visitation until 6 PM.
