He is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne.
Mr. Newman is survived by his companion, Jessie Lee Kelly; son, Lee Newman (Leslie); daughters, Judi Peters (Dale) and Melanie Latham; grandchildren, Lacie, Buddy, Kelley, Jeffrey, Beau, Tori, Zach and Page; and great grandchildren, Alyssa, Juliana, Emellie, Kiley, Olivia, Melana and Andrew.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church from5:00PM until 8:00PM. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Oneonta, AL beginning at 11:00AM.
