Howard Goss passed on August 4, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on November 3, 1941. Howard is preceded in death by his parents, James and Grace Goss; son, Carlton Renny Goss. Howard is survived by his wife of 42 years, Rita Goss; daughter, Stacey Lang (Steven); sons, Scott Goss (Carrie), Chris Goss and Christopher Stamps (Alicia) grandchildren, Jarrod Goss, James Goss, Alex Lang (Megan), Amber Lang-Smith (Charles), and Harley Lang; great-grandchildren, Cooper Lang, Elliot Claire Lang, and Cohen Lang; sister, Mary Goss Lee; brother, Johnny Goss. A Visitation will be held on Sunday August 9, 2026 from 1:00-2:00PM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama with a Funeral service to begin at 2:00PM. Burial will be at Macedonia Cemetery in Vincent Alabama.
