Mr. Blackwood is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ruby Blackwood; daughter, Amy Christine Garner; son, James N. Blackwood (Stacey); 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 11:00AM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 1:00PM with burial to follow at St. Clair Memorial Gardens in Pell City, AL.
