James C Byars, age 90, of Sterrett, Alabama passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021. James was born November 16, 1931. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Annette: his daughter, Gayle Byars Kerr (Jerry); his sister, Myra Carroll; and countless beloved nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and four brothers. Visitation will be at Kilgroe Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm, with funeral service to follow at 1:00 pm. The graveside will be at Forest Crest.
