James Robert Ellison SR age 68 of Odenville, Alabama passed away November 1st, 2024. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Frank and Faye Ellison. He is survived by his significant other Mary Bates, Kids Jennifer Howard and James Ellison JR “Darlene Ellison”, Sister Linda Kimmel “Pete Kimmel” Grandkids Christopher Kerr, Meghan McCostlin, James Ellison, Ashleigh Ellison, and Zachary Sims. Great Grandkids Caiden Glass and Emaleigh McCostlin.
James R Ellison Sr was born and raised in Leeds, nicknamed “spark plug”. Loved Alabama football and was an avid fisherman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 2:00PM with burial to follow at Bethel Cemetery.
