James P Hutchins, age 102, of Odenville, Alabama passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024. James is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Choat; parents, Perry and Mattie Hutchins; sisters, Myrtle Wise , Lora Mae Bradford, and Frances Mary; nieces and nephews, June Hudgins Sides, Kenneth Moody, Elvis Moody, Bobbie Fulmer, and Alvin (Betty) Rogers. James is survived by his son, Michael Choat; granddaughters, Stephanie (Bruce) Baker, Christine Choat, and Samantha Choat Bell; grandsons, Justin and Matthew Baker; great-granddaughters, Mazie Ava Bell and Margo Emory Bell; nieces and nephews, David (Lisa) Rogers and Steve (Betty) Rogers. Numerous great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday April 13th, 2024 at 1:00PM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama.
