James Floyd Isbell, age 86, of Moody, Alabama passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025. James is preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Nancy Isbell; brothers, Corbie Isbell, and John Isbell; sisters, Magadalene Dawson, Lorene Dunaway, and Emma Isbell. James is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Susan Isbell; daughter, Merinda (Joey) Cook; sons, Jamie Isbell (Susan), Chris Isbell (Elaine), and Glenn Isbell (Monica); grandchildren, Crystal Pearson (Mark), Kimberly Hubbard, Jessie Isbell (Dava), Justin Isbell (Emma), Christina Tomas (Raymund), Devan Isbell, Tristan Isbell (Kensey), Le'gan Isbell, Rylan Cook, and Mason Cook; 14 great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Thursday March 13, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 PM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday March 14, 2025 at 11:00AM from the funeral home. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
