James Edward Layton, age 85, of Riverside, Alabama passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023. He is survived by his wife; Sue Layton, 2 daughters; Renae L. Gibbs (Danny) and Tam Layton Oliver (Rick) grandchildren; Justin (Rachel), Brittney (Damien), Jordan (Ryan), John (Kim) and Richard (Laine) great grandchildren; Audrey, Carden, Cadence, Jameson, Jayla, Hannah, Tanner and Harper, 1 sister: Edna Coupland. Graveside services will be Thursday May 18, 2023 at 2:00 PM at St. Clair Memorial Gardens in Pell City. Visitation will be Thursday May 18, 2023 at Kilgroe Funeral Home - Leeds from 11-1.
