James H. Pickens

He was a member of Happy Home Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was also Past Master of Moody Masonic Lodge 592 and served in the US Army and retired from M & B Metal.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Agnes J. Pickens, daughters, Donna Johnson (Stephen), Robin Willingham (Eric), Rhonda Campbell (Rick), son, James Pickens Jr. (Mary Beth), grandchildren, Whitney Collins (Rusty), Alex Johnson, Megan Pickens, Trent Pickens, Hayley Rowan, Elliott Pickens, Riley Campbell, Piper Campbell, brother, Mack Pickens, sisters, Louise Hodges, Jane Barker and Betty Smith.

The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial at Moody Cemetery.
